Now that the holidays have come and gone and normal life resumes, I’m excited to share what I’ve been loving in my current routine. Here are the details…

I really indulged on Christmas, so the following day I made sure to take it easy. I drank plenty of water (very important), had some coffee in the morning, and then went about my day. I paid special attention to my body, had energy all day, wasn’t uncomfortable in the least, and didn’t experience any lightheadedness or dizziness. I wasn’t fully hungry until 9:30pm that night. It’s worth mentioning that this is a pretty extreme scenario, but I thought it was worth the write-up because it really blew me away!
Intermittent fasting can be so beneficial after a night of over-indulgence. It can also be as simple as not eating after 7pm. I’ve committed to not eating after 7pm on two nights each week. This simple adjustment has me noticing how many times I’ll eat something purely out of habit, when my body isn’t even hungry. Our bodies are incredible and if you’re open to listening, you can understand just what it needs.
I’ve talked about this on my Instagram (@thekellefactor), but thanks to this wellness warrior, I’ve discovered the magic that is Natural Calm. This vegan, organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free anti-stress supplement is the perfect addition to my evening routine. I simply add a teaspoon with some boiling water and my favorite tea and sip on it before bed. This supplement helps to improve your Magnesium levels as well as balance your calcium levels, and it does so without making you feeling drowsy.
Magnesium is also incredible for releasing fluid retention so it’s fantastic to use before bed if you’re experiencing bloating of any kind. I sleep so well when I take this before bed and I wake up so easily!
my morning cup
Recently, I’ve been making my morning cup of coffee work for me. Adding ingredients to your coffee that can aid in other facets of your nutrition is a sneaky way to get your wellness on while getting your caffeine fix!
Wishing you a warm, healthy, and motivated winter. I urge you to make caring for your body one of your highest priorities - it is the only place you have to live, after all.
