The DIY Blowout

The DIY Blowout

I’ve always felt that if you are able to blow out your own hair, you are some form of unicorn.

I can create everything under the sun with a curling wand or a straightener. However, when it comes to an old fashioned blow-dry, I’m useless. Cut to me with sore arms, frustrated and ending up with half a blow-dry, half air-dry all to be reconciled with a straightener.

After trying numerous products and tools, I’d all but given up on giving myself the perfect blowout.

Revlon’s Pro Collection Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer

This lightweight all-in-one tool helps to create a smooth blowout in a short amount of time. I love this tool because it’s efficient, easy to use, and consists of multiple heat settings to minimize hair damage.

I spray my Monat Thickening spray all over my hair and then apply some of Monat’s Blow Dry Cream (not a consultant, just in love) on my wet hair. Then, I section off the hair and go to town. It couldn’t be easier and, with the amount of money this saves me from the salon, I couldn’t be happier.
