Five Apps I Use Each Day

Hello loves,

Lately, I’ve been using a lot of the same applications to keep me on track. Here are the ones I’ve really been loving…

Done

This simple habit-tracker helps to set goals and track your progress in reaching those goals. Hustle has become my love language over the last five years, so smaller tools like these are incredible to have at my fingertips. This app also sends notifications to. I love a visual, physical aid and it helps me a lot to physically tick off those small color-coded boxes of accomplishment when I complete a task.

Think Dirty

I found this app through my work with Young Living, and it really opened my eyes to what I was using in my home, on my skin, around my family and my pups (because they deserve the best, too!) I’ve found it to be the easiest way to learn about potentially toxic ingredients in my household and personal care products. You simply scan the barcode, read and educate yourself on the ingredients inside, and look at the cleaner, non-toxic replacement options they’ve provided for you. I love this app because it does most of the work for you!

Kindle

It’s no secret that I love to read. Having this app on my phone allows me to read anywhere along with the convenience of syncing with my Kindle so I never lose my place. I love utilizing the different colored-backgrounds, especially in the evening when my eyes are more fatigued - I use the green setting before bed if my Kindle isn’t nearby.

Headspace

Meditation has become an incredibly important part of my days. It took me a long time to really see the connection between that short amount of time and how I was showing up for everyone and everything, including myself. I am a better friend, daughter, actor, singer, dancer, and teacher when I take those small ten minutes to recenter myself.

APPLE podcasts

My favorite find of 2017 and I’ve been hooked ever since. Whether I’m in the car driving to the studio, cleaning my house, or sitting in a holding room waiting for my number to be called at an audition, I love this app. There is so much content and it’s all available for free.
