Confession: I am a self-development book junkie.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already knew that. I learned very early that I will be a student forever, and the truth is I wouldn’t have it any other way.
High Performance Habits
Brendan Burchard writes so conversationally, you almost feel like he’s sitting across from you, coaching your next move. Of all of the leaders in the self-improvement space, he is by far one of the most intentional. What I love most about this book is that it’s heart-centered and research-supported. It also isn’t concentrated on one career-lane. His habits can work for just about everyone, universally.
THE DESIRE MAP
This book was actually my introduction into the self-development world. Danielle LaPorte writes from her heart and sounds like your Mom and best friend in one. She is full of fire and this book taught me so much about goals and where that hustle stems from. It is equal parts inspiring and unapologetically passionate.
GIRL, WASH YOUR FACE.
Rachel Hollis is slowly but surely taking over the planet and I found my seat on her rocket ship in September. This book will make you cry, make you laugh, and make you exclaim “DANG, that’s me!” more than a few times. It taught me to embrace the fire that has always been on my heart to reach for more. She speaks to my soul in all that she does, but this book is the perfect introduction to who she is and what she stands for.
